'Football's brightest stars must return to form'

Football's brightest stars have yet to perform well in the Champions League. However, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that Kylian Mbappe and other stars will soon return to their form.

The first legs of the four quarter finals this week have given the fans great joy. But none of the big stars who were eyeing the big event could prove themselves in that way.

PSG's star striker Mbappe disappointed in the 3-2 defeat against Barcelona. On the other hand, Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger and Manchester City forward Arling Haaland could not do justice to their names. Madrid's top scorer Jude Bellingham suffered from a lack of form in the 3-3 draw with the English champions at the Santiago Bernabeu.

In a press conference, the Madrid boss commented, 'Be patient, maybe they didn't match themselves in the first leg. But there are still matches left, give them time. Of course they will return to their original form.

Ancelotti also said, '20-year-old Bellingham continues to play his role properly. However, the way he got goals at the beginning of the season, he could not keep up the streak.

Bellingham has scored 20 goals in all competitions for Madrid. However, he scored only three goals in the last 13 matches.

Ancelotti commented, "Bellingham's goal streak has dropped a bit, it's surprising." But he is doing his duty. Bellingham's role on the field is that of a midfielder. But in football terms, he has done his duty very well, he has not missed anything. Scored goals, scored goals with teammates.
