Barcelona's final league match against Osasuna has been postponed due to the tragic death of their team doctor. Coach Hansi Flick has decided not to include players Araujo and Rafinha in the squad, as they recently participated in international matches.
Araujo did not feature in Uruguay's goalless draw in Bolivia, while Rafinha played the full 90 minutes for Brazil against Argentina. Despite their quick return to Spain, Flick emphasized the need for rest, stating, "They won't play. Their flight was long and it's not the best way to recover." He added that Ronald, who missed the last match, is now training after his injury.
Young defender Pau Kuberci will also not start, with Flick opting to rest him. "Pau will be on the bench. We need him. An extra two or three days of rest is good for him," Flick noted.
Barcelona faces a challenging schedule with seven matches in the next 20 days. However, Flick remains confident in his team's readiness. Currently, Barcelona leads the league with 60 points from 27 matches, followed closely by Real Madrid on 60 points from 28 matches and Atletico Madrid on 56 points.
